Fully Integrated Audiovisual Systems For Every Situation
Briefing and Display Systems are audiovisual systems designed to facilitate presentations and briefings in rooms of various sizes, from small meeting rooms to large operations centers. The pre-engineered systems consist of complex assemblies that facilitate video teleconferencing and distribution of audio, video and more.
AVS has various levels of audiovisual systems depending upon your needs. These systems are fully integrated and have multiple components and provide switching and control capabilities. Every system can be customized to meet an organizations or a facilitys needs.
There are various levels of audiovisual packages that you can choose from:
Basic
The Basic level system is ideal for groups of approximately four to ten participants. It provides one, two or three screen presentation capabilities, and is intended for smaller rooms and conference rooms, and smaller command centers where there is limited space for large screen displays.
The Basic level system includes at least:
- Playback capabilities for pre-recorded presentations
- Audio playback system with amplifier and speakers to reproduce playback audio
- Remote PowerPoint control software (AVS PM) provided for install onto customer provided PC
- Document cameras to displaying documents and other objects
- Control system to act as single point of control for all equipment in the system
The control system's user interface is a color touch panel that provides an intuitive, easy to use interface for control of all functions provided by the briefing and display system. The touch panel is flush mounted into the work surface of the lectern or placed on a table.
All audio and video switching, cables, racks and miscellaneous hardware are included in the system price. If space permits, high resolution rear projection display unit(s) may be used in place of the flat panel display(s).
Standard
The Standard level system is ideal for groups of approximately 8 to 50 participants. It provides one, two or three screen presentation capabilities, and is intended for most organizations.
The Standard Level system is available as a front or a rear projection system based on available space.
Front Projection- The front projection standard system uses high resolution LCD projectors as the display devices. The image size for each projected image is 5.5 feet wide by 4.1 feet high. The front projection package is only recommended where there is no room for rear projection.
Rear Projection- The rear projection standard system uses high resolution LCD projectors as the display devices. The projector's actual resolution is 1280x1024 and they are capable of displaying resolutions from 640x480 to 1600x1280. The image size for each projected image is 5.5 feet wide by 4.1 feet high.
The Standard level system includes the features of the Basic system as well as:
- Record and playback capabilities of any of the video in the system
- Preview display to allow cueing the video or previewing VTC cameras
- Voice reinforcement system with microphones, mixer, amplifier, feedback control and ceiling speakers
- Auxiliary wall mounted inputs for computer displays and audio
- Wall plates to connect a self-contained VTC system
- Matrix mixer to provide the appropriate mix for playback, recording and VTC
The control system's user interface is through either of two color touch panels that provides an intuitive, easy to use interface for control of all functions provided by the briefing and display system. One touch panel is flush mounted into the work surface of the lectern; the second is movable from the conference table to a second location in the room.
The package includes motorized projection screens, a lectern, and lighting control capabilities. Wall mounted interfaces provide auxiliary inputs including computer, composite video and stereo audio.
Enhanced
The Enhanced level system is ideal for groups of 15 or more participants. It provides one, two, or three screen (front or rear projection) presentation capabilities, and is intended for large meetings.
Front Projection- The front projection enhanced system uses ultra high resolution LCD projectors as the display devices. The image size for each projected image is 6.5 feet wide by 4.9 feet high. The front projection package is only recommended where there is no room for rear projection.
Rear Projection- The rear projection enhanced system uses ultra high resolution LCD projectors as the display devices. The projector's actual resolution is 1280x1024 and they are capable of displaying resolutions from 640x480 to 1600x1280 with stunning clarity. The brightness of the projectors is 1900 ANSI lumens. The image size for each projected image is 6.5 feet wide by 4.9 feet high.
The Enhanced level system includes the features of the Standard system as well as:
- Video playback capabilities
- Cameras for optional video teleconferencing or recording the meeting
- Preview video monitors, to allow cueing video or cameras
- Zoned voice reinforcement system with microphones, mixer, amplifiers, feedback control and ceiling speakers
- Auxiliary wall mounted inputs for computer displays and audio
- Matrix mixer to provide the appropriate mix for playback, recording and VTC Operator console, located in the rear projection room - used as the central control center for the system

One touch panel is flush mounted into the work surface of the lectern, the second is movable from the conference table to a second location in the room. Portable remote control is also provided with the control system to allow control from anywhere in the room.

Video Wall Display Systems
In control rooms around the world, critical decisions are made based on information presented on video wall displays. Video walls are used in many situations that are mission-critical. Some examples of these include: security, broadcast, traffic and transportation, utilities, emergency operations centers, corporate and general command and control room. For these situations, the display system must deliver, day in, day out, around the clock with excellent image quality, 24x7 reliability, broad source compatibility and unmatched ease of operation and maintenance. Video walls can make a critical difference in environments ranging from high security government installations to large municipal water departments, to corporate boardrooms and lobbies.
Video Wall Systems are ideal for groups of large individuals in briefing rooms or command operations centers. Video Walls provide the ability to display information from multiple sources all on one display wall. People working or briefing in these environments are able to push up or pull down information from the wall to share with others nearby and in remote locations. Larger video wall systems, such as in large emergency operation or command centers can consist of multiple workstations near the video wall display system.
A basic video wall will consist of at least some of the following components/capabilities:
- Video wall display area - Consist of multiple DLP displays ( either cubes or projection) arranged in a various configurations (such as 2x4 or 3x3)
- Wall processor with ability to display multiple computer/video sources simultaneously
- Custom base with faade for display wall
- Custom conference room table with ability to integrate/mount monitors or computers
- Zoned overhead ceiling speakers for room audio
- Integrated audio/video record and playback system
- Matrix switching capability for both computer and video sources
- Control system to act as single point of control for all equipment in the system
- Annotation capability to display on wall and capture for storage
- Wall plate connections for laptop/computers within conference room
- Broadcast and satellite playback
- Accommodate VTC upgrade in future
Options for all systems
Each system can incorporate video teleconferencing systems for audio/video calls, sharing of information from various sources, camera and microphone control and record capabilities.
All systems include:
- All audio and video switching, cables, required ceiling mounts, racks and miscellaneous hardware
- A wall plate to allow connection of a transportable Video Teleconference system
- Control system functions such as: source selection for audio and video, equipment control and maintenance
