Audio Video Systems Named the Top Small Technology Company
 in Washington, D.C.  Region

Chantilly, VA - October 6, 2011 – Audio Video Systems (AVS), a design, engineering and systems integration firm, has been named the No. 1 Small Technology Company in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Region for 2011 by the Washington Business Journal.

This is the sixth year in a row that AVS was ranked in the top ten, moving up from last year’s No. 2 spot. Companies named to The Washington Business Journal listare ranked by revenue in the D.C. metro region, and employed less than 150 people at the time of publication.

AVS was also ranked by Inc. Magazine as No. 3303 on its 2011 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in America.  AVS’ ranking improved nearly 2,000 spots from when it last made the list in 2008.
