Sales/Design Engineer

The position of Sales Engineer is responsible for developing exceptional audio-visual system designs for our clients. This individual will work closely with the Technical Proposal and Sales team to ensure that the best overall solution is developed for the customer’s needs.

Essential Functions:
• Perform site surveys and needs analysis
• Develop cost effective, user friendly, and state of the art audio-visual solutions
• Generate detailed Bill of Materials
• Produce signal flow diagrams, (working knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, and Micro Station helpful)
• Assists in the development of Statements of Work
• Perform product research
• Ability to present designs to clients
• Participate in team based design projects
• Familiarity with construction and bid specifications

Education and Experience:
• Four year degree, in the electronics or technical field
• 2-5 years of Audio Video or audiovisual design experience
• ICIA CTS or CTS-D certification desired

Additional Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly detailed and works well with team members
• Ability to multitask
