Sales Account Manager

  • Identify prospects for AVS sales opportunities.
  • Meet prospects to identify detailed requirements, project funding, anticipated timeframe of the project, and contracting method.
  • Prepare draft proposal information, including statement of work and pricing.
  • Coordinate with AVS personnel to finalize AVS proposal to prospect.
  • Maintain communications with prospects as well as past and present clients.
  • Maintain database of outstanding opportunities, proposals in process, and outstanding proposals. Provide up to date forecasting information based upon guidance from AVS management.

SKILLS:

  • Proficient with basic office automation computer tools.
  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone communications skills.
  • Excellent time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
  • Excellent written communications skills are required to be able to document client requirements and draft proposed solutions.

EDUCATION:

  • ·Minimum of High School, with college degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a sales related function.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the AV or VTC technology fields.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detailed and works well with team members
  • Ability to multitask
