GREEN INITIATIVE

The future of our planet depends upon the availability of resources and the methods in which we utilize them. At AVS, we strongly believe in managing our resources and implementing more efficient practices, wherever applicable. AVS Green Initiative

Sustainability practices have been around for a while. Although it is a newer concept in the AV world, the momentum of “being green” is growing. ‘Green AV’ is fast becoming a standard term throughout the industry. While many are still learning, AVS has the experience to be at the forefront of this movement.

We recently implemented an energy-saving AV and control system for the greenest of green customers … the U.S. Green Building Council. Subsequent to that project, AVS decided to look at its internal and external processes to see what we could do to be more “green” and to use sustainable business practices. As a result, AVS has established an employee task force that is dedicated to making AVS a greener company internally. We are still learning but strive to build more “green conscious” systems by offering our customers services and products that will help them practice sustainability, as well as save energy and money. From suggesting the use of ENERGY STAR® compliant products in our system designs to working with companies practicing sustainability - AVS is committed to doing what we can to play our part.

Please join us in our effort to go green as we continue to strive for a more efficient business and lifestyle. Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
